Karpet King Training
Learning how to operate a Karpet King is so much easier than you think. Most customers are confidently operating the machine within one hour.
We are able to offer two different types of training course on Karpet King machinery,
- In House (at our purpose built training workshop)
- Online (Via online videos and one to one Skype tutorials)
Our training courses cover all the essential information required on threading your machine, adjusting thread and yarn tensions, adjusting stitch length and other general maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating your machine.
In-house training
We offer 90 minute training courses FREE of charge to all customers purchasing Karpet King Machinery.
This training course covers all the basic elements required to become a competent carpet whipping/serging machine operator, this includes the following points,
- Threading
- Adjusting thread tensions and stitch length
- Whipping/serging external and internal corners
- Replacing a needle
- Creating a neat join
- Lubrication and general maintenance
After completing the course, all trainees will receive a Karpet King certificate of competence, confirming that the operator is able to create a professional edging finish using their new Karpet king serging machine.
Online training
We can provide online training via Skype for any customers we are unable to reach personally. Online training will be a combination of video tutorials, written support documentation and one to one personal contact.
Our online training is tailored to each product and to each customer’s need. We can arrange one to one personal tutorials on an appointment basis to fit in with your own business schedule. Please ask for more information.
